John Greg Brady, D.O. received a U.S. Navy scholarship for his medical training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school he served on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a physician for thirteen years. During his initial operational tour he served as a Flight Surgeon attached to a Marine Helicopter Squadron and was deployed as part of a Marine Amphibious Unit to Beirut, Lebanon. Following this duty he received his dermatology training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda and passed his board certification exams from both the American Board of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology.
He then served two years as head of the Department of Dermatology at the Naval Hospital Great Lakes. He subsequently completed a two year fellowship at the Tufts/New England School of Medicine focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, Mohs surgical technique, and reconstructive surgery. After completing this training he was transferred to the Naval Hospital San Diego and focused on treating skin cancer and training dermatology residents in surgery.
Dr. Brady has spent the last 20 years in the Lehigh Valley practicing dermatology and treating skin cancer. He continues to focus on the treatment of skin cancer in a more personal setting. He also supports all of the hospitals in the Allentown area by providing consultations for hospitalized patients.
